Celebrating Kingdom Artists & Community Impact
This November, during the FOFMI World Convention in Pensacola, Florida, independent Christian and gospel artists will come together for a momentous occasion the WVIU Radio Music Awards 2025. What began as a vision, “to make a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind that fills houses, businesses, ministries, and all people; that will keep all minds stayed on Christ” has grown into a powerful celebration of artists using their talents to build God’s Kingdom.
Honoring Independent Gospel Talent
At its heart, the WVIU Music Awards uplift independent, new, and upcoming Christian artists who boldly share the Gospel through song. From passionate worship leaders to stirring lyricists, the nominees this year represent both spiritual depth and artistic excellence. It’s no small feat to earn a nomination, our team selects nominees based on character, ministry impact, prayer-led direction, and consistency in advancing the Gospel.
Engage and Vote with Integrity
Public participation is a cornerstone of the awards. Voting officially opened August 8, 2025, inviting fans nationwide to have their say. Through one vote per device, the audience helps decide the winners, making the results a true reflection of community support and engagement.
A Weekend of Worship, Service, and Celebration
The WVIU Music Awards are part of a broader, Spirit-led weekend under the FOFMI World Convention umbrella. It begins Friday, November 14, 2025, with a semi-formal banquet dinner at the Interfaith University facility, fully embracing fellowship and reflection. Then, Saturday brings a full morning of community outreach, artists gather at 7:00 AM CST to distribute food and supplies to those in need, an embodiment of gospel action in motion. At 10:00 AM, the awards ceremony commences alongside an Interfaith University graduation, weaving together celebration of both artistic and academic achievement.
An After-Party to Remember
But the celebration doesn’t end there. On Saturday evening, at 6:00 PM CST, nominees, winners, and attendees are invited to the WVIU Web Radio After-Party, a vibrant gathering filled with food, live performances (featuring YOU), and rich opportunity to connect with fellow artists in Kingdom community. This is an open invitation to artists to share their gifts and build meaningful relationships that extend beyond the stage.
Why This Matters
The WVIU Radio Music Awards aren’t just awards, they’re a movement. They embody the mission of WVIU Web Radio: amplifying Christian artists, strengthening spiritual community, and making the Gospel shine through music. Organized by our Station Manager Dr. Victoria “Tori Tellem” Hoffman, herself an award-winning artist, influencer, and ministry advocate. WVIU is home to a thriving network of independent artists, programs, and mission initiatives.
Through outreach, PR partnerships, industry credibility, and live celebration, the WVIU Music Awards give artists a platform to be seen, heard, and encouraged in their calling. In a season filled with noise, these artists are proclaimed winners, because in God’s Kingdom, every one who steps out in faith, for His glory, is already victorious.
