2. Where are you from?

I am from the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago

3. How long have you been doing music?

I have been involved in music for the past 12yrs or so!

4. Who inspired you to make music?

My inspiration comes from my family, growing up it was either a musical
instrument being played, or songs being sung, by them.

5. How would you describe the music that you typically create?

The music that I create is spiritual, Motivational, and inspirational. As it
shares the Hope and Joy of Christ to others.

6. What is your creative process like?

During the intimate times I have with God is when I am usually inspired to
write songs. It is also inspired by events that happened throughout my life
and I use it as a testimony through songs.

7. How long does it usually take you to write a new song?

It depends on it can be in a moment, days, or weeks even. Sometimes during
my leisure time, while playing my guitar and talking to God, if find myself
creating. Furthermore, my spiritual father Prophet Terry will give us the
opportunity to write a song for someone’s birthday. This still amazes me as
we are given only five minutes to prepare a song which is led by the Holy
Spirit.

8. Who would you most like to collaborate with? Why?

I will love to collaborate with Jai Symone a local artist from Barbados
because I love her passion, humility, and the zeal she has for God. She has
also been a help to me when I released my first song, she taught me to have
confidence in who I am in Christ and to never give up.

9. If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?

If I had the opportunity to open a show for any artist, I would choose
Yolanda Reece. Yolanda Reece is also a local gospel artist from Trinidad and
Tobago, whom I always admire for her joy and worship.

10. What’s your primary goal in life?

My goal in life is to minister the gospel of Christ and take every opportunity
to help young people that are searching for life and a purpose.

11. What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music ministry or current career?

I would be doing Family Law, because it has always been in my heart to
help families and counsel people.

12. Where have you performed?

I have performed at cultural events like Soca, Calypso, and Chutney Junior
Monarchs. High School Events, Church Gospel Concerts and Red’s Room
Entertainment online Gospel concert.

13. What are your favorite and least favorite venues?

My favorite venue will be at Red’s Room Entertainment online concert
because I had the opportunity to meet new upcoming Gospel artist. My Least
Favorite venues would have been Junior Calypso Soca and Chutney
Monarch because it was a secular competition for young upcoming
individuals.

14. Do you have any upcoming shows?

I have no upcoming shows, however, I would love to have one in the
upcoming future.

15. How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music arena? Specifically, for Independent, new, and upcoming Christian/Gospel artists?

The internet had a major impact on people such as me in the music industry.
It gave me the opportunity to share my music and meet other artist from
different countries and hearing different genres of gospel music has opened
me up a lot to be more creative.

16. What is your favorite song to perform LIVE?
My favorite song to perform live will be “Teach Me”. This song expresses
forgiveness and not allowing our hearts to grow cold because of the
judgments we can have towards people when they hurt us.

17. Which well-known musicians do you admire?

I really admire Caleb Cato as a musician, who is also from the island of
Trinidad and Tobago, I love his heart for music, worship, and his creativity
for producing music. He Produced my first song “Loved” and I was really
pleased with his work. I believe God blessed him with the gift to play and
hear music.

18. What is a favorite song of yours that you’ve written? Lyric-wise? Why?

One of my favorite songs that I have written is called “Loved”. It focusses
on believing that I am loved by God that, I don’t need to seek for the world’s
acceptance, because many times we spend a lot of our time listening to what
everyone has to say ,seeking for the world’s YES or No ,waiting for their
acceptance ,when God already says that you are LOVED and accepted by
Him.

19. What is the best advice you’ve been given?

The best advice that has been given to me from Prophet Terry Crabtree,
He said, “it’s better to climb a mountain than to just look at it.” Sometimes
we settle for what we have and sightsee in the mountains, however, you will
have a better experience when you climb it.

20. At what age did you come to know Christ for yourself? Who helped you to grow in the faith?

I came to know Christ at the age of seventeen years where I met Heavenly
Lights Ministry. My stepmom tricked me, saying she was taking me to a
mall, but the Mall was a church. That is when I met Prophet Terry Crabtree
who has been an immense help to me because I never had patience and grace
with myself, and he took his time to show me God’s grace. There were other
young Ministers that also raise a zeal inside me to want to no more about
God when I saw their zeal for preaching and counseling people.

21. How would you encourage a person who is afraid to stand up for their
Christian beliefs, morals, and values?

For anyone who is afraid to stand up for their Christian beliefs, I will say
never be afraid to let the Grace and light of God shine in you, because the
same way God had patience and Grace on us, we should also have that same
Character in us that the actions of unbelievers should not shake or change us
from who God called us to be.

22. How do you balance your daily life, ministry, job, music, and other
responsibilities without getting burned out?

What keeps me balance, is keeping the Joy for God and people and everyday
just say God whatever you will me to do today I surrender.

23. Are you currently working on any music videos?
I am not working on any music videos right now, but I will do a music video
one day.

24. What’s next for you?

I will Love to be stretched more into what God wants me to do and have more
opportunities to minister to people through the songs God has given me.

25. What word of encouragement would you give to your fans and to our
listeners here at WVIU Radio?

Keep holding on to God’s love and word in your life because God wants to
bless each one of us, do not ever listen to do voices of doubts that says you
cannot do anything, but keep holding on to God and trust his words in your
life.
